Laflin Borough – Inkerman Road Construction

Starting this Thursday, November 17th traffic will be reduced to one lane and controlled via flag persons between the hours of 7:00am and 5:30pm for a section of Inkerman Road heading towards Jenkins Township.  School buses and emergency vehicles will be provided with immediate passage through the site.  It is anticipated the work will take 7 to 10 days.

Laflin Borough was awarded a state grant for stormwater flood abatement work that will take place on the road shoulders, swales, and retention areas to help mitigate flooding during heavy rain fall in the low area just before the railroad crossing.

In the spring, road work will continue on Inkerman Road with additional state grant funding for underdrainage and paving work.

Should you need further details or have concerns, please contact the Laflin Borough office at (570) 654-3323 or by email at BoroManager@laflinboro.com.
