Laflin Borough Road Paving Work

Inkerman Road section of Laflin Borough will be under construction starting this Thursday, 10/12/23.  The road will be closed on certain days from 9am to 2pm.  At other times, road work will continue with traffic being allowed through the work area.  Please allow for some delays and/or alternate routes.   Emergency vehicles will be allowed through at all times.  After underdrainage work is completed, the road will be milled and paved from Laflin Road to the Jenkins Township border. Funding for this project will be provided by a state Local Share Account Grant (casino money).

Additionally, Creekside Drive, Peachwood Drive, East Saylor Ave and a portion of Dogwood Drive (steep hill section only) will be paved this year.  More information will be provided as the schedule is finalized.  As with all past paving projects, residents will have access to their properties with minimal delays.  Funding for these projects will be from the borough general fund (Creekside Drive & Peachwood Drive), and Williams Transco Gas Pipeline (E. Saylor Ave. & Dogwood Drive) due to pipeline construction activities.
